Sumana leads Focus Events’ immersive and experiential work through her role as Creative Director and as a key part of the team at Lasertech, her family’s legacy production company.

With a background in theatrical design and a passion for pushing creative boundaries, she specializes in crafting bold, tech-driven experiences that pull audiences into the story.

Stephanie brings a sharp eye, a multidisciplinary background, and years of design experience to the creative heart of Focus Events.

A graduate of Emily Carr University’s Interaction Design program, she began her career on the UI team at Research in Motion before shifting into film, where she’s since built an impressive portfolio as an Art Director and Set Designer.

With a deep understanding of space, mood, and audience experience, Stephanie plays a key role in shaping the visual language of our events — translating creative concepts into fully realized worlds.
